Description

This degree programme reflects the best international trends and is the result of the realisation that Public Relations is pivotal in the current socioeconomic context of contemporary organisations, which have increased the demand in this area of study. The Study Plan enables the broad acquisition of knowledge and skills that prepare the Public Relations and Communication Management professional for professional practice in an increasingly diverse labour market.

The course constitutes an important training offer, especially in the north of Portugal, where the business fabric (commerce, industry and services) still lacks specialised human resources in this area. The University of Maia's 30 years of experience provide both a solid knowledge of the market and strategic positioning and an excellent relationship with stakeholders, which is reflected in a growing number of offers in terms of host institutions for student internships.

The relevance of this degree is further enhanced at national and European level, as it invests in the training of professionals with personal, social and professional skills adjusted to the demands faced by organisations in the dynamics of industry 4.0 and web 2.0 and 3.0.
